Create your own sequences, free

Our Singing Character Plug & Play packages come pre-programmed: plug in the cables, power up, and enjoy the show. They're also fully customizable: you can create your own sequences, colors and effects, all free. The only cost is the music, which you buy yourself (often about $1.30 a song).

There are plenty of free sequences, timing tracks, lyric tracks and effects to start from in the xLights sequence share.

Fair warning: programming your props is a process. It takes a computer, a free app and time. Our video tutorials walk you through it.

Do it yourself

  1. Download and install the free xLights app on your computer.
  2. Email us at support@dvlight.com for the free xLights show folder for your Plug & Play package.
  3. Open xLights to that show folder, create your sequences, and add effects, colors and your music.
  4. Save, then load the sequence and your song onto your controller (how to load a sequence).

Or let us create it for you

We create custom sequences for a fee. Rates start at $50 per sequence and depend on the song's length and complexity.

  1. Buy the song from the store of your choice (Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc.). About getting your music.
  2. Send this form with your music purchase receipt (not the music). It must show the store, purchase date, your name, cost, song title and artist. We'll email you a quote.
  3. Approve the quote, and we create the sequence and email you the file. Add it with your song to your controller, and enjoy the show!
